Our Vision

Empowering displaced communities to reimagine their home.

Space is a perception, architecture encompasses imaginary and physical boundaries that are interchangeable. By having a speculative look at the creation of the spaces we call home, the project redefines the boundaries of one’s habitat based on her specific memories and cultural background.

Color My Home builds awareness around the issues of immigration and displacement, through the means of architecture and spatial thinking

Color My Home empowers displaced communities to have a voice through the universal language of design and graphic thinking

Color My Home introduces architectural thinking to those who haven’t had much exposure to it, by showing them how to think about the design process of a house with the means of collage and words/poetry.

Color My Home shares the story of those who experience displacement with the rest of the world, by using the collection of the colleges and poetry pieces through publications and exhibitions.
