Yasaman Esmaili
Yasaman is an architect originally from Iran and the founder of studio chahar, an architectural design practice focused on equity and innovation. Her community-based projects have received several awards, including LafargeHolcim Regional Gold and Global Silver awards.

Rania Qawasma
Rania is a Palestinian-American architect working in the area of social equity and affordable housing. As the founder of Architecture for Refugees-USA, she works on refugee advocacy. She is the creator of “This is Home,” an award-winning infographic guidebook for refugees.

Poetry Sessions: Anna Vodicka

Anna Vodicka is a freelance writer and teacher based in Seattle. Her travel writing and creative nonfiction have appeared in a variety of magazines and anthologies, including AFAR, Brevity, Guernica, Harvard Review, The Iowa Review, Lonely Planet's An Innocent Abroad, Longreads, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Paste, and Shenandoah.
